HELLO and welcome to the page for Supporters' Groups and first and foremost the Watford Supporters' Trust.

Watford Supporters Trust

The WST was formed in the dark days of 2001 with the sole aim and objective 'To keep Professional Football alive at Vicarage Road'. While the club is now in a period of relative affluence, football is an ever-changing world and, even in apparent good times, problems can be just around the corner. The current positions of Leeds and Nottingham Forest illustrate how fleeting success can be.

Over the six years of our existence, we have worked in tandem with the club to achieve our aims. And we remain steadfast in the belief that a strong, vibrant, independent Supporters Trust is vital to the continuing stability of 'our' football club, providing a safety net in times of trouble and generally acting as an advocate for the fans. To this end, we would encourage all Watford fans to join the Trust and add your voice to strengthen ours.

The stated aims of the Supporters Trust are:

- Using our influence, to promote sustainable policies and actions within our club.

- Providing an independent viewpoint within the framework of an effective partnership.

- Listening to the concerns of Watford Supporters and communicating with the club on issues raised.

- Constantly challenging ourselves, the Supporters and the Club to remain at the Heart of the Community.

Watford Supporters Trust - 'For all seasons and all reasons'

Many people have moved away from Watford and Hertfordshire over the years but they of course still want to follow the Hornets.

Below are the contact details and information for the groups that we know about. Our support in Australia is growing rapidly so well done to them!

If you are involved in organising a supporters' group please contact themediateam@watfordfc.com so we can add your details. The club or group doesn't have to be official, if you meet up and travel to games with fellow 'Orns in your area - perhaps you would like to add some new recruits?

Watford Australian Supporters Club - Hornets Down Under

Hornets down under is going from strength-to-strength with around 30 members signed up on the mailing list with numbers increasing all the time.

You can visit their website at: www.watfordfc.com.au

Hornets Down Under

Founded in 2006 at the start of the Premiership campaign, the aim is simple - 'To bring Watford fans in Australia together'. The club is run by Geoff Boreland and Mark Worrell, both originally from Hemel Hempstead who emigrated in the late nineties.

The club is based in Sydney and can be contacted at info@watfordfc.com.au

EA Horns

Are an unofficial group of Watford fans based around the wilds of East Anglia.  A number of us are season ticket holders but some, due to the distance, visit the Vic less regularly.  Obviously, we have a strong presence at games played when Watford visit our region and usually arrange meeting points (pubs), well known for their friendly welcome.  For home fixtures the bulk of us congregate at the West Herts Sports Club in Park Avenue.

On occasion we organise group travel to high profile away matches - the latest being the FA Cup Semi-Final at Villa Park against Manchester United.  Our known fan base stretches from Cambridge in the West to Billericay in the South and to Norwich in the East, with other fans located in places such as Thetford.  Most fans have a long term affinity with Watford, although we do have some supporters, who are younger in age who cannot recall the halcyon days of Blissett, Barnes and Jenkins et al.

If you want to find out what we're up to, or register an interest in keeping informed via our email list then please feel free to contact either:

The Republic of Ireland Watford Supporters Club

We are looking for any Hornets who live in Ireland, no matter where you are from originally.  Despite being based in Cork it would be great to hear from other supporters no matter where they are in the ROI. The aim for this branch would be to establish an e-newsletter and organise a trip to Watford this season to watch the team play. Please contact me for any further information.

East Midlands Hornets

We meet for food/beer and a general WFC based chat every six weeks or so. We also produce a newsletter (The Hornets Nest) four or five times a season, have EMH Supporters Club embroidered clothing and obviously arrange transport to home and away matches. If you're exiled in the Midlands we would love to hear from you.

Our contact details are 01158 548422 or  eastmidlandshornets@ntlworld.com

New England Watford Fan Club

In the summer of 1997, a small band of ex-pats in the US decided to come together in a unique way to form a Fan Club, using the Internet via the Watford Mailing List (WML).  Paul Green based in Connecticut and Gerard Gartside in neighboring Massachusetts emailed each other about the idea to start a US based supporters club.  Aptly named, the New England Watford Fan Club or NEWFC for short we have now grown to 60-plus members found all over the continental United States and as far south as Brazil.

Our web site is at http://www.newfc.co.uk/ and to become a member please contact either Paul Green paulgusa@excite.com or NEWFC Mailing List (NEWFCML) Administrator Mark Millward markmillward@hughes.net.
