Steve Kabba signed from Neil Warnock's Sheffield United in a deal worth £500,000 during the January transfer window in 2007. The pacy striker made his debut in the 4-0 defeat at Old Trafford where he replaced Darius Henderson after 75 minutes. The Lambeth-born forward returned south after joining United in 2002. He scored 23 goals during his spell at Bramall Lane.
Kabba had started his career at Crystal Palace and had loan spells with Luton and Grimsby before he moved to Sheffield. Now with the Hornets he signed a two-and-a-half year contract in January 2007.
