WATFORD Ladies striker Mikaela Howell finished the AVC international top goal scorer in last weekend's tournament in Holland with 12 goals in six matches.

The next forward finished second with just six goals - Tanja Vreden plays for the eventual winners SV Hamburg.

Indeed, Howell hit a double hat-trick in Watford's match against Dutch side Be Quik Zwolle who were, until last season, a top division side.

Howell even managed to outshoot team mate Helen Lander who, whilst on the score sheet several times, played the role of provider more throughout the weekend.
