JAY'S WEMBLEY BOUND
WATFORD'S American star Jay DeMerit is part of the USA squad which has been named to face England at Wembley next Wednesday (28 May).
The squad met up today (May 22) with American based players joining after their weekend fixtures.
Centre half DeMerit has seven caps to his name so far but he would dearly love to add one more at the newly built home of English football.
The Americans last played the Three Lions in London at the old Wembley Stadium in September 1994.
Watford's Green Bay born defender is one of eight English-based players in manager Bob Bradley's 22-man 'roster'.
The international friendly kicks off another busy summer for the American national squad as they prepare for further friendlies and 2010 World Cup qualifiers.
After facing Fabio Capello's men they play Spain in Santander, before coming up against Argentina in New Jersey.
Then the qualifying business starts with a two-legged affair with Barbados, the first of which is on June 15th.
