SCHOOLS' CUP FINAL IN PICTURES
THE Harefield Academy yesterday (Tuesday) won the English Schools' Football Association under 15 Schools' Cup for Boys at Vicarage Road.
A last gasp goal from Ryan Ware stole the trophy away from Cardinal Heenan Sports College and gave the young Hornets a 2-1 win.
Left back Oli Archer had given Harefield the lead during the first half, but the north west college hit back through Conor Roberts.
Watford Football Club officially launched their joint venture partnership with The Harefield Academy last September when the first intake of Hornets started at the Middlesex school. The youngsters are given more exposure to coaching while receiving a first-class education - where football sits as part of their school day.
Congratulations to all of the players and staff who work with the youngsters both at The Harefield Academy and Watford. Click here to read the full match report.
