IT may be 2-0 to Hull, but as the old saying goes, it's only half time.

Keeper Richard Lee's opposite number Boaz Myhill was in inspired form as he single handedly locked out the Hornets as they threw everything including the kitchen sink at him.

Lee however knows that on a different day, it could have been a cricket score. He said: "Boaz had one of those days where he held absolutely everything. We had chances throughout, even after we went down to 10 men.

"Unfortunately it was a day of misses and defensive errors that cost us dearly, but if we play like that on Wednesday then we've still got a massive chance of getting back into this tie.

"I think we played well and I think the fans know that, they certainly sounded as though they did as they were fantastic today."

The mood in the dressing room was far from sombre, more a place of stern determination as Lee explains.

"The gaffer has just come in and said to us that getting two goals up there on Wednesday isn't insurmountable and we know that. Hull have done it here and we all know what out away form is like.

"We're still confident and we've got another 90 minutes to go on Wednesday. We've got to focus on the positives from today. Ironically, that's probably the best we've played at home in a long time.

"It all could have been so different if Dan's goal had have stood early on, we know that we can put that right up at the KC in the week and that's what we'll be aiming to do."
