HERE'S the latest injury situation from the treatment room at Vicarage Road as we catch up with the progress of some of the long-term knocks.

Moses Ashikodi is now back with the Hornets after returning from his loan spell at Swindon Town. The striker is having the plate and pins in his leg replaced and the ex-Millwall man is undergoing intensive rehab with the medical staff - he will join up with the squad in pre-season.

Midfielder Damien Francis is progressing well after his knee problems and will join up with the Hornets for pre-season training. The ex-Norwich man made seven starts and five substitute appearances between November and January before his knee flared up.

Ian Joyce, who joined the Golden Boys in October on a non professional contract is recovering well from his hip operation. The US stopper made six starts for the second string before injury struck. Joyce is now back working on his handling with goalkeeper coach Alec Chamberlain and is progressing well.

Academy graduate Junior Osborne is on track six months after his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury. Currently the Harrow-born defender is working hard in the gym and will soon move outside and is expected to link-up with the first-team squad in July for pre-season training.

Finally Scotsman Gareth Williams is another player on the road to recovery after a cruciate ligament injury.

The midfielder has been out of action since April 2007 but returned to play his part in the final few reserve team fixtures of the season. His rehab process did come with some complications but the playmaker looks to be over the worst of things and trained hard following his last reserve outing.
