MAT Sadler knows there's a Big One to face at the weekend in Blackpool, but he isn't prepared for the one at the Pleasure Beach.

The task at hand sees Watford needing to win at Bloomfield Road on Sunday to be sure of a place in the play-offs and in a bid to raise the spirits and perhaps the heart rates of the lads, a trip to the amusements might usually be called for.

With the game set to take place on the Sunday, that means a Saturday journey for a change but sadly no opportunity for a spot of team bonding on the Pleasure Beach.

Sadler said: "Everyone is buzzing this week. We all know what we've got to do to get the result. The aim is to get in the play offs and then go from there.

"The goal from the outset at the club was always to get promotion and we can still do that.

"We're travelling up on Saturday and there was talk of us all going on the 'Big One,' but it's not going to happen."

Blackpool may be the centre of fun and games, but the town's football team will no doubt mean business when it comes to 2pm on Sunday and Sadler is all too aware of the task at hand.

"They need a point and will have just as much to play for as we will. It won't be a nice place to go with the wind howling in from the sea and I'm expecting a very open, attacking game. They will want to win the game as much as we do.

"We should be beating teams like Scunthorpe and for us that was a huge disappointment. We shouldn't have lost last week and there were numerous games before that where we also should have picked up points.

"I don't think it's so much of a testament to the league that everyone is beating each other, more like we've let ourselves down over the last few weeks.

"But it's time to rectify that on Sunday."
