MAT Sadler is predicting a fiery contest at Home Park on Saturday as Watford come up against a Plymouth side who also have everything to play for.

The Pilgrims currently sit in sixth position, on the periphery of the coveted play-off spots. But the Hornets know that a win, and a dash of good fortune elsewhere at the Britannia and Ninian Park where Stoke and Bristol City will be in action, will see them top on Saturday evening.

Plymouth go into the fixture following a mixed bag of results of late, a medley of wins and losses making their form hard to call. However, Sadler is sure of one thing:

"It's going to be a real blood and thunder game." He said: "We want the win to put us top and Plymouth will be looking to consolidate their place in the top six. So for me it's got all the ingredients of a feisty game.

"We always go all out for the win every time and I'm sure that everyone has seen that we're more than capable of throwing everything at whoever we play. We never go into any games willing to sit back. I don't think that's something you can accuse us of at all."

That's something that you could attribute to Stoke however, who seemed happy to sit back and soak up the pressure last Saturday. Sadly the Hornets were unable to break the deadlock though, so what do we have to do differently?

"I don't think there's much more we can do, I don't think we need to tinker with anything. Be more ruthless in front of goal definitely, but it just seems at the moment the ball isn't dropping for us, but our work rate is second to none.

"Look at the Stoke game for example, our heads never dropped even after John Eustace was sent off. You wouldn't have thought that we were the team with ten men at all. It didn't faze us and our game plan never wavered."

So what is Sadler expecting from Plymouth?

"I played against them last season, but that was under a different manager, so I'm not sure if their style of play will have changed much. All I know is that Home Park is a tough place to go because the crowd really get behind their team.

"I'm not surprised with how well they have done so far this season, given the fact that they're so well organised, but similarly to Hull they've surprised a lot of people as you wouldn't have expected them to be competing for the top six spots.

"We've just got to impose our game upon them, they've got a good defensive record and they don't concede many at home. But if we stick to the way we play I'm sure we will break them down."
