HORNETS BETTY
MONDAY March 10 - the beginning of what has been dubbed 'the mother of all weeks.'
So we've got Bristol City tomorrow and Stoke on Saturday - would you bet against the mighty Hornets taking maximum points? I know I wouldn't! Betty is indeed VERY excited about this week and has got an optimistic glow surrounding her like that of the Ready Brek man.
With the men from Brizzle failing to break down Leicester at the weekend, it looks like now could be a good time for us to get a bit of payback for their three point haul at Vicarage Road earlier in the season. Revenge shall be ours!
So, let's take a look at the odds.
In true Watford style, I don't think we'll make it easy for ourselves and while I'm tempted to go for a 3-0 romp at 33/1, I can't help looking at the less generous 2-1 at 9/1.
Dan Shittu is always a great bet from set pieces and he's coming in priced at 22/1 to score the first or last goal of the game. Both Nathan Ellington and Darius Henderson are priced at 15/2.
So why not double up? Intriguingly, Betty has just found out that Darius to score first and Watford to win 3-1 is coming in priced at 135/1. Worth a cheeky pound I say!
We'll leave the indomitable Doyley alone for this week and turn our attentions to young Aidy Mariappa instead. It's 50/1 for him to get his first goal for the club, so why not have a flutter?
As you're probably aware, it's the Cheltenham Festival this week and to celebrate this, bet365 are offering new customers an incredible £250 in Free Bets.
Once you've opened an account and placed your first bet, bet365 will give you a free bet to the same stake, up to the value of £50. And that's just the beginning!
After placing your first free bet, place a further five qualifying bets of £5 or more, and you'll qualify for a second free bet, which will be to the same value as your smallest qualifying bet, up to a maximum of £50.
Further free bets (up to £50) are available on the same basis after a further five, ten and fifteen bets at bet365. This means you can generate 5 x £50 = £250 free bets, getting you off to a potential flyer!
Please note, this offer is only available for this week and ends on Friday 14th March. If you've not yet opened an account with bet365, this is definitely the best time to do so; your bets can be placed on any sporting event.
Many of us are counting down the days until the start of next week's Cheltenham Festival and bet365 customers are enjoying the 'Non-Runner, No Bet' promotion available on every race.
The highlight race of the week is set to be the Gold Cup on Friday, with Kauto Star an even money chance to retain his crown. However, young pretender Denman is many people's fancy to power past the champion at 11/8.
Meanwhile, bet365 have seen plenty of interest in their Champion Hurdle market, where Sizing Europe is a 2/1 chance and last year's winner Sublimity is proving popular at 4/1.
In a less-known race at Cheltenham next week, there's been a big gamble on Group Captain in the Ballymore Properties Novices Hurdle. The Alan King-trained horse is an 11/2 chance with bet365, after a swarm of money coming for the former flat horse in the past fortnight.
Whether you're a new or existing bet365 customer, there are plenty of promotions to get excited about as we enter the month of March.
If you've not yet signed up with bet365, there are £100 of free bets available to you. Simply register and make your first bet, then bet365 will match it with a free bet to the same stake (up to £25).
Place a further five bets on any bet365 market to receive a further £25 free bet, while the same applies for your third and fourth free bet. As mentioned, your qualifying and free bets can be placed on any market, whether it's a Watford match, a televised football game or the Cheltenham Festival.
If you already have a bet365 account, why not visit the 'Offers and Promotions' section on our homepage to see what you can take advantage of.
