WATFORD Academy were held by Bristol City in their final game of 2007 as the home side fought back to draw 1-1.

The Hornets took the lead thanks to a strike from winger Billy Gibson, but the hosts equalised through Marlon Jackson after a neat one-two with Joe Edwards.

It was the last game for the young 'Orns before they had a rest over the festive season and came just days after their thrilling comeback in the FA Youth Cup where they came from behind to beat Scunthorpe 2-1.
