WATFORD will travel to Roots Hall in the Carling Cup second round to face Southend on Tuesday 28 August.

The Hornets went into the hat for the second round following an impressive 3-0 victory over Gillingham on Tuesday with goals from Tamas Priskin, Douglas Rinaldi and Alex Campana. Aidy Boothroyd's side will face Steve Tilson's League One outfit at the end of the month with a 7.45pm kick off at Roots Hall.
