Head NORTH on the M1 - there are three different options as to which junction you come off at. Either exit at Junction 29 for the A617 via Chesterfield. You'll pick up the A61 until you reach the outskirts of the city and then you need the A621. The ground will be on your right.

Alternatively leave at junction 33 and take the A630 (which becomes the A57) towards Sheffield and the city centre. On reaching the inner ring road follow signs for the A621 towards Bakewell, which eventually leads into Bramall Lane.

However if you're looking to get back to Watford on the night you could well be disappointed!

No problem getting to Yorkshire, although if you want to get back in time for work the next morning, you may only just make it. On the way home you can get as far as Birmingham but you'll have to spend the night at New Street Station. You have been warned!

Sheffield Station is 10 minutes from the ground. Take a left out of the station and walk along Shear Street and into Shoreham Street. Cross St Mary's Road and you'll eventually come to the ground by turning down either Cherry Street or John Street.

PARKING: Limited to on-street parking unless you opt to use one of the city centre car parks, meaning a 15 minute walk to the ground.

AWAY END: 2,557 seats in the lower tier of the Bramall Lane End. A further 2,696 in the upper tier can be allocated on demand.

PROGRAMME COST: £3.00

RESTAURANTS: London Road, just opposite the ground will leave you spoilt for choice.

PUBS: The majority of the pubs nearby are not too welcoming for visitors, so stick with the city centre.

However, pubs that are recommended for visiting fans are The Golden Lion on Alderson Road and The Broadfield on Abbeydale Road - which does a nice line in real ales.

The Howard (opposite the train station), is the main pub for away fans and also offers reasonable food.

DID YOU KNOW: That Bramall Lane was originally a cricket ground? It is one of the oldest grounds in the country, having hosted its first game in 1862.

Over the years, crown green bowling, lacrosse and baseball have all been played at United's home ground.
