WELCOME to our first away guide of the season here at www.watfordfc.com

SOME supporters have contacted us and asked us to start our away day guide again, so here it is! Hopefully it will give you some handy tips if you're making the short trip to west London to follow the Hornets.

We would also like your input on this page in the future. If you have some information which you think would be handy to your fellow Watford fans and you're willing to share it please let us know and we'll include it in the Guide.

It can be anything from a parking tip to a good pre-match pub! Contact us at themediateam@watfordfc.com with your tips - the Golden Boys next two away trips see us travel to Scunthorpe and Coventry.

OPPOSITION: Queens Park Rangers

TOTAL MILAGE (from Vicarage Road): 20

BY CAR:
Head for M1 South and follow all the way to the bottom. At Staples Corner aim to get onto the North Circular (A406). Leave the North Circular at Neasden Lane (A4088) then turn left into Neasden Lane (B453). Take the second exit on the roundabout for High Road (A407). Now turn left onto Craven Park Road (A404). Finally turn right onto Scrubs Lane (A219). This then becomes South Africa Road and is where the ground is situated. If possible it is recommended to take public transport.

Post code: W12 7PA

TOTAL DRIVE TIME: 30mins.

BY TRAIN:
Shepherds Bush tube station on the Hammersmith and City line is a 10 minute walk from the ground. Turn right out of the station then take your third right into Loftus Road, the ground should now be in view. Alternatively you can try the White City tube station on the Central Line which is a short walk to the ground down South Africa Road.

Please check the Transport for London website here before travelling - please note that if you're commuting from Watford there is no Metropolitan Line between Harrow-on-the-Hill and Watford/Amersham/Chesham.

PARKING: Not the best. Residential parking only. Pay attention to restrictions - public transport is recommended.

AWAY END: 1700 seats in the School End Stand (with demand this can rise to appropriately 3300). Watford will have both tiers of the School End tomorrow, entrance to the ground is either by the Club Shop on South Africa Road or by Ellerslie Road, depending on which tier you are in.

This game has now sold out and we advise all those without a ticket not to travel.

PROGRAMME COST: £3.00

RESTAURANTS: Uxbridge Road or Shepherds Bush Green both contain restaurants from each corner of the world so you should have no problem getting a bite to eat before or after the game.

PUBS: The Springbok is closest to the ground and welcomes away fans. However further variety can be found around Shepherds Bush on Uxbridge Road, Goldhawk Road or round Shepherds Bush Green. Most away fans tend to head for O'Neills on the Green (situated on the corner of Goldhawk Road).
